You will find the profiles of some of our long-term dogs and cats that need a home most urgently. Some have spent hundreds of days at the shelter and really deserve to find a caring home.

We also always have puppies and kittens at the shelter - visit us at Walu Bay!

All our pets ready for adoption are deflead, dewormed, and desexed. They have received all necessary vaccinations and are ready to join you in your home as a new family member. Thank you for caring!

Hello! I’m Ube, a fun and excited girl! I have been at the SPCA longer than most dogs here and no one can understand why as they all just adore me!

I have lots of confidence and lots of energy. I love going for walks (but would love to run even more)! I am usually pretty easy-going and adaptable in most situations. Because of my energy, I will need an active family to keep up with me.

I love being out and about and playing with other dogs. In fact, I can usually get the most timid dogs here at the SPCA to run and play and have fun with me! So, please provide me with a fenced area to play so I don’t get lost. I am pretty easy to train once you help me work out some of my energy. If I don’t have an outlet for it, I can be a bit cheeky.

My name is Patricia.

I am a 3-year-old, Neutered/Spayed Female, Fijian Mixed Breed

Hi! I'm Patricia! I am a friendly young lady looking to find my fur-ever home now that my puppies have found theirs!

I am learning to walk on a leash and master the “SIT" command. I can sometimes be a bit excited and jump up to greet people. So families with young children might find that I will accidentally knock them over. I don't mean to but I just can't contain my excitement sometimes!

I find that some adult dogs can be a bit too much for me and would prefer to be an only dog in my home! I am better behaved with puppies though! I am pretty easy and outgoing. I love to go for walks and enjoy being around people. In fact, I am more interested in people than in toys. I do have a bit of prey drive though and should not be allowed to chase things like birds and cats.

I would like to have a fully fenced home with a family that can continue my training! I am very food  motivated so it should be pretty easy for me to learn.

My name is Tommy.

I am a 3-year-old, Neutered/Spayed Female, Fijian Mixed Breed

Hi! I'm Tommy! I am a friendly young lad that has come t o the SPCA to find a super family of my own!

I am learning to walk on a leash and master the “SIT" command. I can sometimes be a bit excited and jump up to greet people. So families with young children might find that I will accidentally knock them over. I don't mean to but I just can't contain my excitement sometimes!

I am a bit of a jumper and can jump over some of the gates here if I am not on a lead. So I will need a property with higher fencing and gates. But I am otherwise pretty friendly and get along well with other dogs and most people.

I would like to have a fully fenced home with an active family that can keep up with me and let me continue to learn! I am very food  motivated so it should be pretty easy for me to learn. I also love to play in the water so trips to the water would be a bonus!

My name is Hang.

I am a 1-year-old, Neutered/Spayed Female, Fijian Mixed Breed

Hi! My name is Hang, and I am a shy girl looking for a new home of my own. I came to the SPCA as a young pup who was finding it hard to find enough food on my own. But the lovely people here at the SPCA have been feeding me well and are looking to give me a fresh start at a new life!

I can be a bit shy when first introduced to people, but I love food and it helps me warm up to them. I enjoy being in my familiar surroundings. Once in a new home, I will be happy to spend most of my time there as I find it a bit stressful going to new places.

I am not particularly fond of other dogs. So, I need to be the only dog in the home. I would love a securely fenced area to be in as I do not want to get lost or have strange dogs come onto my property.

I may take a bit of time to warm up, but once I do, I will be a sweet and playful girl!

I have heaps of energy but am often too timid to let it all out. I would love to have some confident dog friends to play with in a securely fenced compound. It may take some extra time but once I settle in, I can start to relax and show off my energy.

Hi! I’m Dobby, a sweet and mild girl.

I am looking for a home to play and relax. I love soft toys and enjoy carrying them around in my mouth. I walk well on a lead and am often the calm centre of our weekly dog walks. I can be a bit annoyed with other dogs being too much in my face, but I am pretty much happy with all sorts of humans.

I would love a family of my own to spend time with and give me soft toys!

Hi! I'm Snow, a sweet and confident girl. I have come to the SPCA after my carer could no longer look after me.

I am a sweet and friendly young lady looking to find my fur-ever home! I am learning to walk on a leash and master the “SIT" command. But I am learning quickly and have already become a favourite with the staff and volunteers! I love playing with toys and eating.

I can't remember if I have lived inside a home or not so I might take a bit of training and time to learn the rules and settle in. Maybe some treats would work well for that! I am pretty good with all of the other dogs here. So I could live in a home with other dogs. I love attention and would love a home that will spoil me with affections and pats!

I would like to have a fully fenced home with lots of love and attention. I just love people and getting attention!

My name is Doja Cat.

I am a 3-year-old, Neutered/Spayed Female, Domestic Short-haired Mixed Breed

Hi! I am Doja Cat! I came to the SPCA with my brothers and sisters to find a fur-ever home! I am currently the longest resident here and none of the staff can understand why as I am such a sweet lady!

I am a sweet and friendly young lady but can be very shy when we first meet. I am usually very relaxed and often just love sunbathing! Sometimes, I can be a bit stressed and over-groom myself. I just love being brushed by humans and like to do it to myself too! It's not too bad though. Just can cause some bald patches. I think that I would find it a lot less stressful in my own home. With some human pats and brushing, my fur will grow back!

I like to split my time between getting treats, sitting on laps, and playing games. I would love a home that can provide me with all three of these things. I may take a bit of time to settle in, but I would reward you with cuddles!

I am a big smooch and love to roll around at your feet so you will pay attention to me! I am not shy about wanting affection. I get along well with my roommates. I enjoy any bit of hum contact I can get. If I can't get a human, I am pretty content to lay around and watch the world go by.

I would like a home where I have some company and some time to myself to reflect on things. I like brushes and pats but also like my quiet time to recharge myself.

I am a sweet and friendly young lady but can be a bit shy when we first meet. I am enjoy parading around my area and showing myself off. I can often be found napping and watching the world pass by. I do try to keep the rest of the cats here in check. I check in on them and make sure that they aren't getting into any trouble.

I would like a home that gives me the freedom to patrol my kingdom or nap as I please. I feel like I might be best suited to a quieter home t o allow me to settle in and blossom.

I am actually not a drama queen, but I do love to relax in poses that will make you think I am pondering the deepest secrets! I am a pretty relaxed girl who loves my naps and hanging out with my roommate. I am pretty content to just find a quiet corner and just chill.

I would like a quiet home to allow me all of the lazy naps I want between pats. I would also love some high arches to relax on and show off all of my dramatic moves.

I am a relaxed guy who loves to laze around and nap. I am not too fussed with all of the happenings that go on around me. I just like to do my thing and avoid the chaos. I am pretty content to lay around and watch the world go by. I would prefer to be an only pet.

I would like a quiet home to allow me all of the lazy naps I want between pats. I don't think I would enjoy lots of people and animals running around as they might disturb my restful nature.
