SPCA is currently expanding its services and reach. All the while, tackling the ongoing and ever present, animal welfare challenges of a developing country.
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate, committed veterinarian with at least 5 years experience, one of which will have been in a small animal clinic. If you have that, along with any orthopaedics experience (an advantage), you are a foot in.
The Role
The role offers a diverse medical and surgical caseload in a supportive environment, with access to mentorship and liaison with other veterinarians in Fiji and abroad. Our clinic offers rich and diverse experiences that are often unavailable to younger vets in larger clinics in more developed countries.
You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team of nurses and interns led by our Head Veterinarian. Our extensive outreach program offers opportunities and experiences you would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.
Salary will be paid in Fiji dollars at an attractive local rate commensurate with experience. The remuneration package will include shared accommodation, transport to and from SPCA, and opportunities for subsidised travel to some of Fiji’s most beautiful locations.
